Radamel Falcao to Chelsea

Reports during the January transfer window had suggested that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich was considering triggering Falcao’s €60million buy-out clause, but a mid-season move was unlikely after the player indicated he was looking to see out at the season at the Vicente Calderon.

Abramovich remains keen, however, and according to Spanish newspaper El Economista, Abramovich is ready to bid €55m for the Colombia international, as well as offering young goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois’ services on a permanent basis.

Falcao is also a target for Manchester City, while the likes of Juventus, PSG and Real Madrid are all believed to be showing interest in signing the forward.
